During this time we are going to be learning about a very interesting place: Italy.
You will learn about its history, how is daily life there, tour around and so many more things. Enjoy the trip!

Animal Adaptations
Watch this presentation about how animals adapt to their environment to survive.
See some great photos.
1. Go to Make Beliefs Comix to create your comic strip.
2. Add a TITLE and your NAME.
3. Choose the number of panels you want to use.
4. Add your characters.
5. Add the Speech bubbles. Be sure to talk about the adaptation your animal has made to the environment.
6. When you are done, click on NEXT.
7. Review your comic. Be sure to have used proper punctuation and that you have no spelling mistakes.
If everything is just the way you want it, click on PRINT.

Animals
WATCH
Classifying Animals with Annie and Moby
TASK
Imagine you are an animal explorer and you find a new animal, one nobody has seen before. Document your findings to become the first person to study this new animal!
You will need to print this worksheet before you begin.
PROCESS
1. Fill in the CHART for the characteristics of the different animal groups.
2. Got to SWITCHEROO ZOO and create a new animal.
3. Give it a name.
4. Instead of adding a story, write about the it's characteristics.

5. Take the animal's photo.
6. Print.
6. On your FIELD JOURNAL, record the animal parts and characteristics.
7. Write about how you discovered the animal. Talk about the animal's habitat and the sound it makes.
8. Write about the animal's appearance. Talk about the characteristics that will help us decide what type of animal it is - highlight the animal traits.
9. Be sure to fill in your conclusion at the end.
